| Munchie Legaux is a dual-threat quarterback who finished his junior season with 1,800 yards passing for 30 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He also added another 450 yards rushing for another 10 scores, earning Offensive District MVP honors. He says he can bench 235 pounds and squats 355.
(Soph) Played in only three games due to a broken ankle. He passed for over 350 yards and five touchdowns, and still earned 10-4A First Team All-District honors.
Partial senior (3-0) stats: 450 yards passing and nine touchdowns through the air, two more scores on the ground.
Legaux plans to major in sports medicine and reports a 3.0 core GPA and a 17 ACT.
Legaux: “I have good lower body mechanics. I’m a dual-threat. I look to pass first, but I can make plays with my feet too.
“I’m a little slim though, so I’m trying to bulk up. I think if I got a little stronger and faster I could go from being a good player to a great player.”
