Michael Machen is originally from Mobile, Alabama where he committed to the in-state Crimson Tide out of McGill-Toolen Catholic School. He was then drafted by the Atlanta Braves and played in their farm system for two years before heading to the Baltimore Orioles farm system. He went back to Alabama and then transferred from there last year to Coffeyville. The CU staff went by there today and Machen is very interested.
