New Orleans-O. Perry Walker linebacker Travis Berry has committed to the University of Colorado sight unseen. He is choosing the Buffaloes over offers from Vanderbilt, Alabama, Texas A&M, LSU and Ole Miss. Berry says he plans to visit the campus in Boulder after his senior season is over.

In his first two weeks of the 2002 season, Berry has totaled 30 tackles. As a junior, Berry (6-0, 225) made 145 tackles and was chosen the Metro Area's Dfensive Most Valuable Player.

Berry was recruited to play middle linebacker in Colorado's 4-3 scheme.
