Wildcats defeated Colorado Tuesday to advance to play Vanderbilt on Wednesday

Arizona defeated Colorado 91-87 on Tuesday to advance in the Maui Invitational.

Nic Wise scored 30 points and took over the game completely at one point, scoring 16 of Arizona's 19 points in the process.

Wise helped Arizona build an eight point lead with 52 seconds left, but the UA blew it by letting up two three pointers and free throws with 20 seconds left.

Arizona's defense left something to be desired, as it allowed a 28-point performance by Cory Higgins.

With that being said, the UA did enough to win due in large part to the fact that Brendon Lavender had the best game of his young career, scoring 16 points.

With the win, Arizona now advances to play Vanderbilt on Wednesday.
