WR Production Should Rise in 2007 Premium Story

Perhaps the biggest surprise — and disappointment — on offense last year was the lack of production at wide receiver. Dan Hawkins and Company entered Boulder with the reputation for a high-flying, stretch-the-field offense. But the Buffs’ passing game sputtered, and managed only 1,349 yards, the team’s lowest output since 1989, when they ran the option. That should change this fall.
