As has been evident for months now, the Buffs are casting a very wide net this recruiting cycle. Recently, Colorado cast it in New Jersey, home of defensive end prospect Marquis Hamm.

Marquis Hamm, a 6-foot-4, 220-pound defensive end from New Brunswick High School in New Brunswick, N.J., has now been offered by Colorado, according to an email he sent to Scout.com.

It is Hamm’s fourth offer.

“I now hold offers from Syracuse, Toledo, Colorado and Temple,” Hamm said.

As a junior, Hamm registered 66 tackles, 13 sacks and forced four fumbles. He also converted five of his seven receptions for touchdowns and was named second-team All-State.
