"I committed to Colorado yesterday," were the words of Highland CC star defensive lineman, Drew Hudgins. "I had been leaning that way since I visited there. I also visited North Carolina, North Carolina State and Utah, but Colorado is where I wanted to be. I had offers from all of them."

He also had a Connecticut offer.

Hudgins will sign with CU on December 20th and will be in Boulder for spring ball. He has used a medical redshirt as he sat out his true sophomore year with a hamstring injury. He still has three years to play two.

The Defensive End does not plan on taking anymore recruiting visits. "I am done. I am going to Colorado now and I am going to try to get on the field as soon as possible."

As a sophomore this season, the future Buff had 92 tackles, 19 sacks and eight passes broken up. He was named first team all-conference. He did not play last year as he took a medical red-shirt. He did play as a freshman.
