Iltis Wants to Help Build Something Great

Mike Iltis became the Buffs' sixth known O-line prospect to commit when he pulled the trigger in early October. That was when the Buffs were in the middle of a six-game skid. But Iltis, out of Sarasota, Fla., said once he'd made up his mind to verbal to CU, he didn't hesitate. He believes the CU coaching staff is "going to do some really great things," and he wants to be part of it.

Mike Iltis tripped to Boulder back on Sept. 16 and liked what he saw. After spending several nights with his parents discussing his offer list, which was five schools long, he verballed to Colorado the first part of October.
