Johnson Plans to Visit Colorado

<b>Brett Johnson</b> is one of the top three players in Nevada this recruiting cycle. He put on a great performance at the UCLA Adidas Camp over the summer. That showing combined with a great senior year find him picking up offers by the day. Colorado recently got in contact with him, and the safety/linebacker says he could visit.

Johnson visited Berkeley last weekend and the Bears hold a giant advantage. "It is looking real good for Cal right now," he said. "That is probably where I am going. They definitely have a big lead over the other schools."

He will not make any decision before he takes a trip to UCLA next weekend. "UCLA has not offered me but they have spoken about it. I love the program and the environment there."

Johnson now has offers from Oregon State, Cal, Fresno State, San Diego State, Nevada, UNLV, Vanderbilt, and Colorado State. Colorado is coming in on him. "They just called me recently and want me to visit there. I think I will take one. I expected them to do worse this year but they didn't have a bad season."

Along with Colorado, Johnson could also visit Oregon State and Utah.

He finished the year with 94 tackles, three interceptions, and three forced fumbles. Green Valley ended up at 6-5.
