Lacey estimates his final stats for the year to be at 190 rushes for 1,200 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also passed for 650 yards and a score. The corner prospect only got in on defense one play all year and recorded a tackle.

He has written offers from Texas Christian, Southern Methodist, Tulsa, CU, Mississippi State, Purdue, Wisconsin, Kansas, and Missouri.

It appears that his services could go to one of four schools. "The main ones are Colorado, Kansas, Wisconsin, and Oklahoma State," said Lacey. "Colorado is still my favorite. They have a slight advantage over the others. I like the recruiting coach and all of their coaches, really. It is real good to see them getting in the (Big 12) title game."

Of the four, OSU is the only one not to offer. There is a chance that he could make his decision after the Boulder visit. "I might visit OSU in January or I could decide before then, we'll see."

He will visit Kansas this weekend, CU December 10th, and Wisconsin December 17th. "Kansas is recruiting me the hardest."

Chad Washington is another Colorado prospect that will be visiting Lawrence this weekend with Jacob.

Lacey projects as a full qualifier with a 2.7 core GPA and a score of 990 on his SAT.
