Taj, what was your overall impression of the camp?

remember. Even though I was there for only a few days, I feel like a learned
so much. I loved it.”
What coaches did you work with at the camp?
“Coach Wilson. I’d love to play for him. He was tough, but I feel like I
learned a lot from him.”
How’d you do in the one-on-one drills at camp?
“I did really well. I don’t think I got stopped once!”
What was your assessment of the competition at the camp?
“There were some really good players at the camp. There were a lot of
players from Hawaii who were real good. There was good competition all
around.”
Did you have much interaction with Coach Barnett?
“Yeah. Coach Barnett walked around and was real involved with everyone at
the camp. He wished me luck on this upcoming season”
What schools are you hearing from?
“I’ve gotten phone calls or letters from Kansas, Kansas State, Notre Dame,
Oregon, CU and CSU”
What schools are recruiting you the hardest?
“CU is recruiting me the hardest. They write and call the most. Kansas would
be next.”
Who's recruiting you for the Buffs?
"Coach Wristen mostly.'
Did CU give you any indication of where you stand?
“No, not really. They just wished me luck on the upcoming season and told me
they’ll be watching.”
Do you plan on going to any more camps this Summer?
“I might try and go to the Kansas or Kansas State camps. I just plan on
working out all Summer. CU offered a weight lifting program at the camp that
players could buy. I bought the program and plan on trying to do it the rest
of the Summer.”
What’s the outlook for Cherry Creek this coming season?
“I don’t want to jinx anything but I think we’ll be real good. We have nine
returning starters on defense.
