"It is basically between Colorado and Tulane. But Tulane is in New Orleans and they don't play in a conference like the Big 12. I want to play for and win a national championship and I have a chance to do that at Colorado. They say I have the opportunity to play early there and Coach Watson was telling me how they would move me around in the offense to get me the ball. They said I could even be split-out as a wide receiver."

Ratcliff sat down with Tight End's Coach Jon Wristen and told him some exciting news.

"I told him I had my mind made-up and that I am going to Colorado. Then I told him I just had to talk to my Mom and some other family and that I would probably call back to commit around Thursday."

As for his visit, it is obvious that Gabe had a great time.

"The visit was straight. Akarika Dawn was my host and everything was real cool."

Gabe carries a 3.6 GPA and already scored an 890 on his SAT. He would like to major in Business Management.

As a senior, he caught 35 passes for 538 yards and six touchdowns. He was named first team all-district and second team all-Greater Houston.

Another reason he really likes Colorado is because he is good friends with current Buff, and former Jersey Village basketball standout, Marcus Hall.
