Colorado picked up its No. 15 commitment here Monday afternoon when Hawaii defensive back Jaisen Sanchez chose the Buffs over several other offers.
BuffPlayBook.com caught up with Sanchez Monday to get his take on his recent pledge.
"I couldn't picture myself playing anywhere else," Sanchez said. "I really like what Coach Mike MacIntyre and his staff are doing at Colorado."
CU Coach Andy LaRussa got an opportunity to watch Sanchez during the spring, apparently that's all it took for Colorado to know that Sanchez was on top of their list.
"Coach LaRussa and Coach MacIntyre was really happy when I called them with the news this morning.," Sanchez said. "There is a three hour time difference between here and Colorado."
Sanchez, a 6-foot-1, 185-pound projected safety, had offers from Hawaii, Utah State, Weber State, Portland State and Colorado.
According to Sanchez he will take his official visit to Colorado on the weekend of December 15th.
