New Colorado Head Football Coach Mike MacIntyre was faced with basically three weeks off after a 2-0 start of a young season.
According to MacIntyre and several of the Buff players this week, expect this Colorado football team to be ready and prepared for a tough road task.
Both squads are looking to improve their running game, while both teams sport great passing attacks, the team that runs the ball best may have an edge in CU’s PAC 12 opener.
While both offenses are going to be showcased here, it may be either team’s defense that could be the difference.
A Greg Henderson interception or an Addison Gillam sack or a pressure by Chidera Uzo-Diribe wouldn’t be out of the question. These scenarios will be needed against the high flying Beaver offense.
MacIntyre has already proven that he can turn football programs around, look at the difference this season at San Jose State without him and his coaching staff, even though David Fales returns.
Teaching football players how to believe in themselves, how to expect more out of themselves and their teammates is something that MacIntyre and his coaches are good at.
