Colorado picked up its 13th commitment here Wednesday when Utah's Christian Shaver picked the Buffs over Utah and Hawaii.

Shaver, a 6-foot-3, 220-pound athlete, camped at Colorado this summer, earning an offer shortly after.

Shaver has had the Buffs high on his interest list for several weeks since his unofficial visit to Boulder.

He told BuffPlayBook.com recently that he fell in love with the campus on his trip to Colorado.

BUFFPLAYBOOK's Take on Shaver: I got the opportunity to watch him perform at the CU Camp. He has an oustanding burst of speed off the line of scrimmage. A young man in great shape, looks to have the body frame to get bigger. Don't be surprised if Shaver will player either defensive end for Colorado or possibly outside linebacker. Definitely has good speed and is a good pick up for the Buffs.

Early on Shaver liked Utah has his favorite, this Colorado coaching staff did an outstanding job shifting his favorites list.

More on Shaver later this evening.

Here is the video interview from BuffPlayBook.com from this summer.
