Coach Mike MacIntyre is intent on rebuilding the Colorado Football Program.

One thing that appears apparent is the fact that MacIntyre and his coaching staff are not afraid to go after some of the best athletes in the country. It doesn't matter what the athlete is rated or who has offered him.

One such athlete that Colorado is currently recruiting is Scout.com 4 Star offensive lineman Kaleb McGary from Fife HS in Tacoma Washington.

The 6-foot-6, 275-pound offensive tackle is rated a 4 star and ranked the No. 25 tackle in the nation.

BuffPlayBook.com caught up with McGary to get an update on his recruiting process.

"Right now I have 12 offers," McGary said. "I'm wide open, I don't have any favorites, I may narrow my choices down in the next couple of months."

Buffs Offensive Coordinator Brian Lindgren is recruiting McGary for the Buffs and apparently has made an impression.

"I'm definitely interested in Colorado," McGary said. "Coach Lindgren seems like a good guy, I have had the chance to talk to him a few times."

While McGary admits he doesn't know a lot about Colorado, he plans on taking care of that in the future.

"I will do some research," McGary said. "I'm not sure what schools I will visit, I will have to wait and see."

McGary's offers includes ones from Arizona State, Cal, Colorado, Nebraska, Oregon, Oregon State, USC, Utah, Washington, Washington State, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
