One high school prospect has moved across the country from Mississippi to Arizona but it appears that hasn't kept college football recruiters from finding him.

Actually it appears that recruiting is on the upswing for Coolidge HS athlete J.T. Gray.

Gray moved to Arizona last July to live with his mother, since arriving in Arizona the college offers have been pouring in.

BuffPlayBook.com caught up with Gray Tuesday night to get the latest on his recruitment. Gray picked up his newest offer this week from the University of Colorado.

"Right now I have 10 or 11 offers," Gray said. "It's great to see that my hard work is paying off."

Gray actually has something in common with his recruiting coach from Colorado, both are from the Magnolia State, Coach Charles Clark played four years at Ole Miss, not too far from Gray's former hometown of Clarksdale.

"It's neat that Coach Clark is from my home state," Gray said. "We are building a great relationship. He has been telling me how great the campus is at Colorado and that he can't wait to get me on campus up there."

Gray currently has offers from Arizona, Arizona State Washington, Utah, Iowa State, Oregon State, Mississippi State and Colorado to name a few.

"I really don't have a favorite right now," Gray said. "I have had the chance to see a few of the campuses, I have been to Arizona, Arizona State, Ole Miss and Alabama."

Gray, a 6-foot-0, 200-pound athlete who has ran the 40 yard dash in 4.37 seconds, plays running back and defensive back at the high school level.

A lot of schools are recruiting Gray to play the safety position, the position that Coach Clark from Colorado excelled at during his playing days at Ole Miss.

Gray finished his junior season at Coolidge High with over 100 tackles and rushed over 1,000 yards and 16 touchdowns.

Gray is also is a track standout for his high school.
