Dan Hawkins said Lockridge will undergo surgery on his injured ankle. Lockridge was hurt in the first half against Georgia two weeks ago and did not play against Missouri.
Perkins was injured in the first half against Missouri and played the entire second half with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
Hawkins also announced during his Tuesday press conference that sophomore wide receiver Will Jefferson is moving to tailback to compensate for losing Lockridge. Jefferson played running back throughout high school.
Jefferson said he is happy with the move and feels comfortable at running back because he has played the position his whole life.
After Tuesday's morning practice, special teams coach Kent Riddle said there would be a week-long competition at place-kicker between Aric Goodman, Justin Castor and Marcus Kirkwood. About an hour later, Hawkins said Kirkwood would be the starting place-kicker against Baylor on Saturday.
