Player of the Week

Senior linebacker B.J. Beatty was named Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Week today for his performance in a win over Georgia, including causing a fumble on the game-winning play.

B.J. Beatty finished fifth in tackles for the Buffs in the game with four. With Georgia driving to a potential game-winning field goal and about 2 minutes remaining in the game, he flashed off the end and disrupted a hand off to running back Caleb King.

Fellow linebacker Jon Major recovered the ball and CU was able to run out the clock.
